Roy Bookbinder was to play Caffe Lena on May 1st. On March 3rd, we lost this legend of country blues, and one of Caffe Lena’s longest-serving performers.
In his memory, we will be streaming a live watch party on YouTube, Facebook and Caffe Lena TV featuring highlights of his last four shows at the Caffe.
The virtual tip jar will be open, and all donations will go to South Carolina’s Piedmont Blues Preservation Society in Roy’s name.
