Cutting his teeth as house manager and co-hosting our monthly songwriting club right here at Caffè Lena, Reese Fulmer has emerged as one of the Capital Region's most compelling songwriters and bandleaders. Described as writing "with a poet's sensibility rich with great storytelling and a healthy dose of irony" (Viv Nesbitt, Art of the Song), Fulmer has built a devoted following through fearless songwriting, memorable performances, and an unwavering commitment to musical exploration.
Named Americana Artist of the Year at the Thomas Edison Music Awards in 2023, 2024, and again in 2026, Reese and The Carriage House Band have quickly become one of the fastest-rising roots music groups in Upstate New York. They have been performing all over the East Coast and their following is growing with every performance. Night two will highlight the more introspective side of Reese’s songwriting, favoring smooth textures, bowed bass, and rich harmonies.
