Raised among the rhythms of second-line parades and brass band culture, Glen learned firsthand from legendary New Orleans musicians like Tuba Fats alongside his brother Derrick Tabb of Rebirth Brass Band and cousin Troy “Trombone Shorty” Andrews. Touring professionally since the age of 14, he has spent decades refining a sound that fuses jazz, gospel, blues, funk, rock, and the electrifying energy of New Orleans street music.
Now leading his own powerhouse ensemble, Andrews delivers shows filled with beauty, humor, heartbreak, righteous anger, resilience, and hope,sometimes all in the same song.
