Carrying forward the legacy of the Maihar tradition, made globally renowned by masters like Ravi Shankar and Nikhil Banerjee, Bose’s performances are rich with nuance, emotion, and intricate melodic storytelling. His playing reflects both the depth of classical Indian music and a personal voice refined through decades of study and performance.

Over the course of his career, Bose has performed at major festivals across five continents, led workshops and lecture-demonstrations at universities worldwide, and mentored students across cultures and borders. His artistry has been recognized with numerous honors, including the Nikhil Banerjee Memorial Award, Sangeet Ratna, and Vadya Shiromani, distinctions he views as inspiration to continue striving toward excellence.
