American Roots Blues

Join us for a fun & powerful night of roots-infused rock and blues with Professor Louie & The Crowmatix, a Grammy-nominated band hailed as “Roots Music Royalty” by Bill Hurley of Extended Play Sessions. With deep ties to The Band and a musical style that blends rock ‘n’ roll, gospel, blues, and folk, this Woodstock, NY powerhouse brings decades of experience and soul to every performance.

Fronted by Professor Louie—keyboardist, accordionist, and longtime collaborator with The Band—the group has released 17 acclaimed albums and continues to expand the boundaries of Americana and blues. Their dynamic shows feature crowd favorites from their original catalog, hits Louie co-produced with The Band (including “Atlantic City” and “Blind Willie McTell”), and songs steeped in the rich tradition of American roots music.

Their live performances are known for their storytelling, warmth, and a vibrant sound that brings audiences to their feet.
