Celebrate with music!

A music festival that celebrates the classical music of our time, Mostly Modern Music Festival will be kicking off their Saratoga residency at Caffe Lena with world class opera singers and NYC instrumentalists. Monica Yunis & Christopher Herbert will sing Robert Paterson’s Extraordinary, with Amir Farid on piano. Keve Wilson from Broadway show Company will be featured on oboe, as well as cellist Dave Eggar from Evanescence. Features from top students will also be on display.

How fun is this going to be?! Cuba just won a 2022 GRAMMY for Best Latin Pop Album! This is his 4th GRAMMY Award. His sugarcane-sweet melodies, pop-soul hooks and powerful guitar riffs stand out in the landscape of contemporary Latin music. With a career spanning two decades and boasting eight studio albums, as well as two JUNO Awards and two Latin Grammy Awards, Cuba finds the simplicity and soul in Cuban music. What a fabulous musician!

Billboard Heatseeker singer/songwriter Kubinski has performed her piano pop around the world, from living rooms to stadiums, NYC to LA, Thailand to Jamaica and beyond. Her clarion voice invites us to own who we are, and discover who we can become. Her music encompasses the high vibes and catchy melodies of Sara Bareilles and the acoustic, nature-oriented style of Colbie Caillat and Jason Mraz. She has performed with Goo Goo Dolls, Chris Botti, 10,000 Maniacs, DJ Taz Rashid, and even her personal music hero, Billy Joel.

A Gullah phrase for “get funky,” Ranky Tanky is five lifelong friends from Charleston, SC who have established themselves as passionate global ambassadors for their local culture and community, helping to faithfully preserve the traditions originated by African Americans in the coastal South during slavery. The GRAMMY-award winning band has been featured on NPR’s Fresh Air, Stephen Colbert and in President Biden’s inauguration.
