Volunteer

Volunteers are involved in all aspects of running Caffè Lena.

Every show relies on our staff of hard working volunteers to give our patrons the best experience possible.

From working in the kitchen to keeping the building ship-shape, to envisioning future directions for our non-profit organization, volunteers partner with professional staff to get things done.

An ideal volunteer is flexible, loves music, and appreciates being on a team with people of all ages and walks of life.

Concert Volunteers

Contact Lucy Nelligan,
Volunteer Program Coordinator

Every week we need at least thirty volunteers to staff our concerts.  You can be a Greeter, Server, Drink-maker, Food Prepper, Dishwasher, or Merchandise Seller. Starting as young as age thirteen you can volunteer during open mic nights or as an usher or kitchen worker during weekend performances. Some volunteers work several times a month and others come only a few times each year.

Office Volunteers

Contact Hannah Stirzaker,
Production Coordinator

Weekday volunteers help with data entry, creating and distributing posters, sending out mailings, social media content creation, minor maintenance work and cleaning, and lots of other odds and ends. We especially seek office volunteers who are comfortable with computers, enjoy working quietly and independently, and general helpers who are good organizers and scrubbers.

Professional Volunteers

Contact Kira Karbocus, President

Our Board of Directors is seeking to partner with supportive professionals in the areas of fundraising, law, real estate, accounting, publicity and media relations, event production, strategic planning, community relations and more.

Created by Reese Fulmer, this film gives a behind the scenes look at the people who give their time to make sure the show goes on at Caffe Lena.
