5 DAY SUMMER CAMPS FOR 7 – 13 YEAR OLDS

This summer our Troubadour in Training Camps will be at the beautiful Waldorf Early Childhood Center at 212 Lake Ave, Saratoga Springs. The facility features safe, inspiring outside areas for students to have plenty of outdoor time while playing music!

New activities!

Build Your Own Ukulele! Instructed by luthier Alan Mapes, each child will finish the camp with an instrument they made. These ukuleles sound amazing and are a real asset to any musical family.

Songwriting! In addition to playing an instrument they built themselves, they’ll have the opportunity to write a song to play on it.

And of course: Troubadour in Training with Oona Grady & James Gascoyne!
Oona & James have been teaching the Folk Ensembles After School program for four years now and have a gift for bringing each student’s talents out in a group setting.

The Daily Schedule: 9:30am- 3:30pm, Monday – Friday July 8 – 12 and July 22 – 26

Monday: doors open at 9:15am

9:30  warm ups and getting to know you.
9:45 build a ukulele
10:45 Break
9:30 Start with warm-ups
11:00 Build A Ukulele
11:30 Lunch
12:00 – 3:00 Ensemble with James & Oona (10 minute break included)
3:10 – 3:30 clean up / free play
3:30pm Pick up

Tuesday: doors open at 9:15am

9:30 Opening circle
9:35 Build a Ukulele
10:35 10 minute break
10:45 Build A Ukulele (finishing touches)
11:30 Lunch
12:00 – 3:00 Ensemble with James & Oona (10 minute break included)
3:10 – 3:30 clean up / free play
