His career took off after winning the New Folk Award at the Kerrville Folk Festival\, leading to a celebrated catalog of albums on Red House Records and Windham Hill/High Street Records. Fans know John for classics like Land of the Bottom Line\, I Know\, and Jack’s Crows\, as well as collaborations with folk luminaries.
