More than three decades later\, they’ve become a cornerstone of the Scottish folk revival\, known for a sound that is unmistakably rooted in tradition while never standing still. \n \nSoaring fiddle\, stirring vocals\, cittern and guitar\, dynamic percussion and the unmistakable power of the Great Highland bagpipes come together in music filled with driving rhythms\, beautiful melodies and the energy of four musicians who know how to make traditional music feel completely alive in the moment. \n \nThe current lineup features original member Jonny Hardie on fiddle and vocals\, Aaron Jones on cittern\, guitar and vocals\, Donald Hay on percussion and vocals\, and former Battlefield Band piper Mike Katz on pipes and whistles.
