This extraordinary ensemble puts a fresh spin on familiar favorites\, blending the warmth of a string quartet with lively percussion to create music that's fun\, engaging\, and unlike anything you've heard before. Whether they're playing songs from beloved movies\, Broadway musicals\, Celtic tunes\, or pop favorites\, FAB5 invites children and grown-ups alike to clap\, sing\, move\, and discover the excitement of live music together. Led by Broadway violinist Victoria Paterson (Wicked\, Moulin Rouge!\, My Fair Lady\, West Side Story\, Sunset Boulevard\, and more)\, FAB5 features world-class musicians who are passionate about making music accessible\, joyful\, and welcoming for audiences of every age. Since forming in 2020\, the group has performed everywhere from New York City's Moynihan Train Hall and the Oculus at the World Trade Center to hospitals\, parks\, schools\, and community centers\, sharing the healing power of music wherever they go. This family-friendly program includes music from favorites like Wicked\, Moana\, The Lion King\, and The Sound of Music\, along with fun sing-alongs and musical surprises that will have everyone smiling. This critically acclaimed folk-country song is so personal\, and yet a universal plea for grace\, compassion\, and redemption in the face of familial struggles\, personal shortcomings\, and political turmoil. Mercy Now won widespread acclaim and propelled Gauthier into the spotlight\, making the Top Ten Albums list in many publications.  \n \nMary says\, "I am excited to announce that this year is the 20th Anniversary of the release of Mercy Now\, a record that changed my life. We are celebrating with a vinyl re-release and a tour. I’m not really one to look back\, but reflecting on these ten songs feels more like standing still long enough to take stock\, and appreciating the grace that brought them into existence. These shows will be a continuation of a long conversation with kindred souls\, like you\, who understand the alchemy of song. Her work reflects both loss and renewal. Written in the wake of personal and collective upheaval\, Dark Enough to See the Stars holds grief and gratitude in the same frame\, tracing the difficult work of moving forward. It followed Rifles & Rosary Beads\, her Grammy-nominated collaboration with wounded Iraq war veterans.
