Hailed as “The Bluesman” by Aretha Franklin and praised by Bob Dylan for her songwriting\, Wonderland is a genre-shaping guitarist\, vocalist\, and songwriter whose life story reads like a legend\, and whose live shows burn with passion and presence. \n \nRaised in Houston\, trained on her mother’s vintage Martin\, Carolyn picked up guitar before dolls and grew up immersed in the Texas blues tradition\, swapping songs with Townes Van Zandt and sneaking into clubs as a teenager.
