His performances span more than a century of American song\, weaving together country\, blues\, bluegrass\, folk\, and early Americana traditions with heart\, soul\, and masterful musicianship. A founding member of the Carolina Chocolate Drops and an acclaimed solo artist\, Flemons is known for his dynamic live shows\, deep musical scholarship\, and ability to bring the past vividly to life. He is a virtuoso on the banjo\, guitar\, harmonica\, jug\, fife\, bones\, and quills\, and his storytelling bridges history\, culture\, and song in unforgettable ways.
