Intrepid fans dancing at last year’s Caffe Lena @ SPAC Festival, which turned out to be the rainiest, coldest day of the entire fall season. This proves we can have fun no matter what the weather, especially with a line-up like we have this year!

Greetings – Perfect weather, a great turn-out, and that wonderful feeling of coming together as a community to make music and have fun. Our 2nd Annual Fiddles & Foliage Festival was a huge success on Sunday afternoon. In addition to the hours of smiles and good cheer, the event solidly beat our fundraising goal. That means our School of Music is ready to serve for many months to come. A huge thanks School Director Vivian, Operations Director Mateo, and to all who participated as players, sponsors, volunteers and cheerers.

Now we roll right into fall festival #2, Caffe Lena @ SPAC! This is a fully professional festival, with fabulous bands and big sound. Our very generous underwriters, Dexter & Deborah Senft and The Nordlys Foundation, covered all the bills so all you have to do is bring your lawn chair, your dancing shoes, and your goodwill. We can’t wait to see you on the lawn at Saratoga Performing Arts Center this Saturday! (As, we all know, there’s a great, glorious “shelter” at SPAC and that’s where we’ll be if it’s raiiny.)

The Caffe will be full of music and learning every day this week. I hope you enjoy sampling the offerings below. International music, a legendary folksinging quartet, storytelling, poetry, children’s shows, jams and more. Take a break and come join us!

See you at the show,
Sarah
