Paul Winter was the first to interweave wolf calls and whale songs with jazz and world music, waking audiences around the world to the music in nature and earning 7 Grammy Awards. This coming weekend marks the first time Mr. Winter has shared his process of creation and his music in a club setting.

Greetings – A tradition has developed over the past few years of bringing an extraordinary show to the Caffe stage during the summer season. Something that’s really unusual to see in a room as intimate as ours. We’ve enjoyed unforgettable performances by Judy Collins, Richard Thompson, Josh Ritter and Doc Severinsen. This year we welcome pioneering global jazz artist Paul Winter. He’s looking forward to sharing his work in our historic venue as much as we are eager to hear what he has planned. Friday is sold out. Saturday still has some available seats.

If you’re a bluegrass fan, you’re going to love the rest of our week! Band leader, SiriusXM Bluegrass Junction DJ, and trophy magnet (11 IBMA Awards, sir?!) Chris Jones brings a love of classic country to every note he sings, from the Grand Ol Opry to Grey Fox Bluegrass Festival, to our little stage. None other than Steve Martin says Chris’s voice is “there with the great masters.” We’re proud to be bringing his band, The Night Drivers, not only to our stage, but to our wider community through Caffe Lena On the Road. They’ll be performing at Saratoga Bridges, Wesley Community, as well as leading some songs at Wednesday night’s Bluegrass Jam!
