This virtuosic Swiss-American trio shows us the poetry in bluegrass. They were drawn across the ocean to North Carolina by Doc Watson, Earl Scruggs, Bill Monroe, and Lester Flatts and they’ve carried that tradition forward for 3 decades with excitement, intelligence and beauty.

With late partner Eric Lowen, Dan wrote songs that became hits for Pat Benatar, Dionne Warwick, the Bangles and others. His songs probe life at its most resonant. In his rich baritone, he sings of heart and insight, steeped in experience, and shares captivating tales from a long road well-traveled.

Jencks is renowned for his articulate storytelling, powerful vocals, and socially conscious songs. From coffeehouses to Carnegie Hall, his beautiful melodies and spiritual exploration merge conservatory training with his Irish roots and working-class upbringing.

Now living in Toronto, this band of Polish women celebrate music’s unity and invite us to revel in the joy of life. Their debut album was nominated in three categories at the Canadian Folk Music Awards 2022, ultimately clinching the Traditional Singer of The Year Award for the talented Ewelina Ferenc.
