The featured musicians this month will be Natalie Santini, Sydney Worthley and long-time Caffe Lena favorite Roseanne Ranieri.

A virtuoso partnership of “one of the UK’s greatest guitarists” (BBC Radio 2) with “the doyenne of Irish harpers” (Scotland on Sunday). They’ve toured in 23 countries from the tiniest of village halls, to palaces in Kyoto and Istanbul. They perform a breathtaking blend of traditional Irish music, hot jazz, bluegrass, and baroque, along with striking new compositions interspersed with the sort of smart, delicious humor that British musicians have long been known for.

Identical twins George and Charles of Lonely Heartstring Band offer “pitch perfect sibling harmonies and gossamer sounds.” (Americana UK) Their deceptively simple songs are enthralling and intimate, groovy and serene. They’ll be joined by drummer Mike Harmon for this show.

Scottish-American folk duo Hildaland opens with fiddle & mandolin tunes inspired by the traditional music of Scotland, Sweden & Appalachia.

The Bright Series is made possible by a generous gift from Kevin & Claudia Bright.
