MEMBERS’ CORNER
The first coffeehouses in Europe were places for music, poetry and debate. A place where people came to exercise their creative energy, with a little help from the coffee bean. In keeping with the revival of the late ’50s and early ’60s, Lena Spencer rooted her cafe in that tradition. Today, members like you keep coffeehouse culture strong at Caffe Lena by supporting professional artists, open mics, and civic discourse through events such as Art of Community. Places like this have an important role to play in today’s world. Your membership support keeps it going.Caffe Lena has nearly 1,000 active members. These folks are planting songs and growing community with their annual donations. They also get the best seats in the house, early access to special shows and some neat swag. Learn More
