51 REASONS TO LOVE JONI MITCHELL’S BLUE

A Fundraiser for Caffe Lena by Rochmon Record Club
Sunday at 7 PM
EVENTS  |  SCHOOL OF MUSIC  |  FAQ  |  SUPPORT  |  MENU  |  LIVESTREAMS
Greetings – We all have different ways of coping with stress, but I’m guessing an unusually high proportion of you lean on music during the hard times. If you have a go-to album or song, write back and let me know. I’d love to make a list of good ones and share it next week.

The only thing more powerful than listening to a favorite piece of music is listening to it together with a community of good folks. On Sunday we’ll be listening to Joni Mitchell’s 1971 album Blue (Carey, California, A Case of You . . . ) along with excerpts from brilliant testimonials written by James Taylor, Brandi Carlisle, Graham Nash, Renée Fleming, Chaka Khan, Rufus Wainwright and many more. DJ Chuck “Rochmon” Vosganian will host the evening. Readers are me (Sarah Craig), actress Vivian Nesbitt, professor of theater Dennis Schebetta, and singer-songwriter John Dillon.

You’ll see more fundraising events coming up on our schedule in the coming months as we continue to struggle through this challenging moment. Please buy a ticket, make a donation, and sink into a really special night of Joni.

And now please enjoy sampling the music and reading about this week’s line-up. Thanks for making live music part of your life.

See you at the show,
Sarah
