Greetings – This weekend brings us two farewells. We gather in honor of Josh Chambers on Thursday, and in honor of Bill Staines on Saturday. We will see friends, share stories, listen to the old songs once again. We’ll experience the bittersweet mix of gratitude for gifts received, and sadness that the givers are now gone. We’ll put our worries aside, and we will do what we do best: love, remember, and move forward.

Caffe Lena’s schedule has taken some hits as bands fall ill or cancel tours. While you will find the venue doors open nearly every night, we will offer you a “Watch Party” when we can’t be open. (And we will offer you a live stream nearly always.) Click here to see a revised schedule for January and February. Anything still blank will be filled ASAP. Thanks for bearing with us. Heck, thanks for way more than “bearing with us.” Thanks for being a life life, a cheerleading squad, a reason for applying our elbow grease every day.

See you at the show or in the chat,
Sarah

– The Bluegrass Situation
Possessing a soulful voice and tremendous songwriting talent (his songs are regularly heard in top television series) Pierce hit #1 on the Billboard Blues Chart in 2021. This is going to be an extraordinary show and we very highly recommend either coming in person or tuning in online. In Chris’s words: “Remember, music always makes it’s way through the darkness and it’s also a main ingredient of what heals us.”
