Greetings – You may have heard that guidelines for small indoor music venues like Caffe Lena are changing again, allowing an unlimited number of attendees as long as they are seated in pods. We will, therefore, begin pod seating in June. To simplify ticketing within the pod system, all seats will be priced at the non-member rate and you’ll be able to buy for 2, 3 or 4 people at time. Members will receive a rebate at the show equal to their member discount. We thank you for continuing to bear with these temporary accommodations while we work our way back safely and steadily to normal operations.

A huge thank you to all of you who have responded so far to our 61st Anniversary May Membership Drive! Our goal is 61 new members by May 31st to fund our wonderful concert schedule, deliver music to neighbors in need, teach folk music to kids and adults, and build the artists and audiences of tomorrow. We are currently at 32 new members since May 1 and we hope you’ll join, too! Whether you stream from home or join us at the venue, we have membership options that will give you a great experience and fund this important mission.

See you at the show,
Sarah

Nakoa first took our stage as folk icon Tom Rush‘s opener and accompanist. Our audience quickly drew the same conclusion as The Boston Globe: “Between his piano chops and heartfelt originals on guitar, he drops jaws.” Over the past decade he has won multiple songwriting awards for his classically-influenced pop and soul.
